A stunning original interpretation of 80s
action hero Mr T, star of the TV series
The A-Team, hand painted in Nathan's trademark
stylised manner using high quality artists acrylic paints on a textured
unbleached canvas. This lively painting transforms before your eyes from
a pop-art portrait to a vivid mosaic of energetic, bright, abstract
shapes. T's trademark gold, for added emphasis, is rendered in reflective
metallic paint. Nathan describes the A-Team as "the greatest television
programme ever made," so you can be sure this is a labour of love.
This large painting measures 77cm by 51cm (Approx 30" by 20"!)
and is stretched on a gallery-style timber box frame with a nice chunky
depth of 3.8cm. The canvas is painted on the sides and comes
ready to hang straight from the box.
The canvas is signed by the artist on the reverse and also comes with a
signed certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing that the work is
genuinely hand painted and a one-of-a-kind. This is not a 'limited
edition', it is the only edition. It is important to us that we
only sell really unique work that will hold it's market value. Remember,
it is painted by hand, no stencils or printing techniques have been used,
just good old fashioned brush and paint.
